The goal or one of the tasks of the majority of medical and social studies is to compare the general intensive indicators. Often, these indicators are calculated in a non-gomogeneous environment. The standardization method makes it possible to exclude the influence of the unequal composition of the compared groups on the general indicators during the comparison of two totalities (populations) heterogeneous in composition.
